Originating in China, Mahjong is a four player game involving skill, calculation and a good dose of luck. Everything needed for an exciting game of Mahjong is included in this set: Mahjong tiles handmade from the traditional materials of bamboo & ox-bone, rule book with instructions on how to play, counting sticks, dice, spare and blank tiles.
This set has tiles made from bamboo & ox-bone which are of superior quality and have a more traditional weighty feel than plastic tiles. Each tile measures 3.3 x 2.4 cm. There are 152 tiles in total: 136 standard tiles, 4 seasons and 4 flowers and 8 tiles that can be used as jokers (2 sets of 4). The set comes in a green Chinese Brocade case.
