Susumuya
Teapot
£ 155.00
The Susumuya tea-house collaborated with designer Oji Masanori and some of Japan's best ceramic craftsman. Together they created a line of traditional Japanese teaware with a contemporary shape, designed to be used daily and treasured for a lifetime. This Japanese kyusu-style ceramic teapot from the brand has been hand-made by master craftsman Tatsuo Umehara. The lid of the teapot is precisely fitted, creating a drip-free seal. Susumuya's teapot will add a sophisticated touch to your tea drinking routine.
Being unglazed, through daily use the Tokoname clay of the teapot absorbs some of the tea's flavour, adding to the nuance of each subsequent brew.
