Founded in Tokyo in 2006, SyuRo specialises in interior design products that are handcrafted by Japanese artisans using time-honoured techniques. This small ceramic bowl is handmade from a specially sourced iron-rich clay that is impenetrable to water, making it ideal for sauces and condiments. The stoneware bowl has a natural rough texture, speckled grey colour and metallic sheen that doesn’t require glazing. Although the unglazed stoneware is susceptible to oil stains, you can easily scrub them away with a brush.
